THE BREXITEERS?

Boris Johnson made the promise of ‘Take back
control’ of the UK waters.

Johnson promised that ammount of fish the local


fishermen can catch will increase to 2/3rd from
roughly half in the next 5 years.

They also promised that water upto 12 nautical


Take back miles will be exlusively for the UK boats to fish
and no boat from the EU countries will be
control of allowed in this zone.
Fisheries
This was one of the biggest announcement which stuck the cord with the
350M Pounds to skeptics.

the NHS Boris Johnson very famously said that UK is paying 350 million pounds
per week to the EU for no reason. And if the country votes to leave the
EU then the 350 million pounds will be diverted to the NHS. (National

The people from the lower strata and multiple ailments were the main
targets for this particular campaign.

Many of them voted to leave.

- Take Back usually implies that to take back
which was rightfully yours.

- The initial slogan of ‘Take Control’ was

VAT on Energy Bills
- The EU rule says that no country can cut its
VAT on electricity below 5%.

- Boris Johnson promised that fuel bills will be


lower for everyone after Brexit.

- However, the current PM is yet to slash the


taxes or scrape it altogether.

- On the contarary the energy price cap- the


maximum price supplies can charge
customers- increased in April & is again
expected to rise in December.

How they Voted

- The brexiteers mostly targeted the senior citizen


with a fear tactics.
- The young population upto the age of 34
wanted to stay with the EU. And the turnout in
the areas with high young population remained
very low.
- They were targeted by a very shrewed
marketing campain on social media.
