BAR TOOLS

WINE BUCKET
A wine bucket is a container
that holds ice cubes or cold
water and ice. You can use it
to put bottles of wine in and
keep the wine cool.
BLENDER
• Grind semi-solid ingredients, such as fresh
fruits and vegetables, into smooth purées.
• Blend ice cream, milk, and sweet sauces to
make milkshakes.
• Mix and crush ice in cocktails such as the
Zombie, piña colada and frozen margarita.

ZESTER
SHAKER
A cocktail shaker is a device used
to mix beverages (usually
alcoholic) by shaking. When ice is
put in the shaker this allows for a
quicker cooling of the drink
before serving.
STRAINER
A bar tool that is most used to
strain liquids away from other
ingredients but also
to occasionally sift fine
ingredients away from larger
ingredients. The Strainer may be
formed as a spoon-shaped
utensil or a basket-shaped
strainer from various materials
such as metal, nylon or cloth.
CORKSCREW
OPENER
corkscrews opener- also known as wine keys - are
the standard tool of choice for most establishments

Bar Funnel

A bar spoon is a long-
handled spoon used in
bartending for mixing and
layering of both alcoholic
and non-alcoholic mixed
drinks. Its length ensures
that it can reach the
bottom of the tallest jug or
tumbler to mix ingredients
directly in the glass.
