TODAY‘S TOPIC:

1. Real Life Application Of Calculus

2. Real Life Application Of Integration
What is calculus:

▶ Calculus is a branch of mathematics that

focuses on the study of rates of change, or
derivatives, of functions and find the integrals.
It is used to analyze the change in physical,
biological, and economic systems.
Real Life Applicatoin Of Calculus:

Following are the applications of calculus.

 Meterology.
 Medicine.
 Computer graphics.
 Robotics.
METEROLOGY:
Calculus is used to understand weather patterns,
Wind speed and air pressure.

MEDICINES:
Calculus is used to understand
the rate of spread of diseases and to determine the
optimal dose of medication for a patient.
COMPUTER GRAPHICS:

Calculus is used to create 3D graphicsand to

render realistic image.

ROBOTICS:

Calculus is used to develop algorithms

for controlling robots and for path
planning.
INTEGRATION :

Integration is a method of adding or summing up the parts to

find the whole. It is a reverse process
of differentiation, where we reduce the functions into parts.
 TYPES OF INTEGRATION
1. Integration by parts
2. Integration by substitution
3. Integration of trigonometric function
4. Integration of rational function
INTEGRATION BY PARTS:

QUESTIONS
1. ∫ x s i n x d x .
2. ∫ x 3 l n x d x .
INTEGRATION BY SUBSITUTION:

 QUESTIONS:

1. ∫ 1/xlnx dx.

2. ∫ x/√4+x2dx.
INTEGRATION BY TRIGNOMETRIC FUNCTION:

QUESTIONS:
1. ∫ 2COS2X dx.
2. ∫ SIN 4x COS 3x dx.
INTEGRATION BY RATIONAL FUNCTION:

QUESTIONS
1. ∫5X+8/(X+3)(2X-1)dx.
2. ∫3x+1/x2-x-6 dx.
