 BASED ON GRAY’S TRAVEL-MOTIVATION THEORY MAKE A
CONSTRACT BETWEEN SUNLUST AND WANDERLUST
MOTIVATIONS.

The Germans call the strong urge for travel wanderlust, literally a desire
for wandering. We loved the German efficiency of the word so much we
annexed it for our own language. With a word like lust inside
it, wanderlust really captures the dreamy passion travelers all share.
Sometimes the word is also used for people who can't make a
commitment to a job or a relationship. Sunlust generates a trip to a place
which can provide the traveler with specific facilities that do not exist in
his or her own place of residence
 

Wanderlust and sunlust both are the factors of motivation that

create the desire in people to travel. Wanderlust is described as
the desire to exchange the known for the unknown. People's
motive to travel is to go from familiar environment to
unfamiliar, to leave things, places to go ,and see different
places, people and cultures or architecture of the past. This also
involves seeing current fashions, music, attending seminars,
etc. Their leading force to travel is curiosity. This type of tour is
related to cultural tour and is of the short term.
Sunlust lovers are the adventure travelers. Their
activities are conducted out-door. They
are mostly young tourists who prefer to take part in
sport, trekking, rafting, mountaineering, etc. Most
popularly they are the people who enjoy sea beaches
and spas. The duration of their travel is of long term
compared to wanderlust tourists
DIFFERENCE BETWEEN SUNLUST AND WANDERLUST

What is the difference between Sun lust and

Wanderlust in terms of hotel industry? There is no
much difference as both are desire to travel. Sun lust
can be defined as travelling in search of
sunshine/Adventure activities/Outdoor activities
whereas wanderlust is the desire to travel far away
and too many different places to explore those
places
 Sunlust tourists are motivated by desire to rest, relax and to enjoy
while wanderlust tourists have a strong desire to travel and
experience different things worldwide.
Sunlust tourists give more priority to hotels as they take a crucial
part in their itineraries, but wanderlust tourists stay in hotels as a
place to sleep at night.
Sunlust tourists are in middle range ages including older
population whereas wanderlust tourists are in the range of 20
years to 35 years.
