Saxon Genitive

We use the saxon genitive to indicate


possession.

It is used for time expressions or to refer to things owned by


people.

To create the saxon genitive you only add ‘s to a


name

Examples:

● Tamara’s house is on the corner

Possessive Pronouns

As with possessive adjectives, possessive pronouns indicate who owns something.

The difference is that possessive pronouns are used without or after the noun.
