Let’s talk

about our
Daily
Routine
Conversational lesson N. 2
To talk about our daily
life, we can think of
these questions…
• Do you have certain routines that you
follow, if so, what are they?
• Do you have friends or family that
follow similar routines?
• What do you like about your routine?
• How would you feel if something in
your daily routine was changed?
You can answer these
questions to build your
daily routine :
• What time do you usually wake up?
• What time do you have breakfast?
• What time do you go to school and
what’s your favorite subject there?
• What time do you get home after
school?
• What do you do in the afternoon?
• What time do you usually go to bed?
Here you have some
more general questions:

1. Do you have a hobby or an

extracurricular activity?
2. How many times a week do you do it?
3. How often do you watch a movie at
night?
4. How often do you hang out with your
friends?
5. Do you have a favorite place to go to?
You can create a text like
this one to share it with
your classmates 

My name is Mario and this is my daily routine:

I get up at 6:30 am in the morning, I have breakfast at
6:45 am, then brush my teeth and take a shower. I go
to high school at 7:30 am. My favorite subject is IT,
because I love being around computers all day long.
After school, I get home at 2 pm. I have lunch at 2:30
pm, relax for half an hour and then go to karate
lessons up to 5 o’ clock. Sometimes I hang out with my
friends at the beach after my karate lessons. That’s my
favorite place to go to in the whole world.
Then, I usually get back home at 6-7 pm, watch some
show on Netflix, have dinner and finally go to bed
around 10 pm.
Now it’s your
turn!
You can use the questions and
Mario’s routine as a guide to
write your own daily routine
and then share it with the class
