Cybercrime
“Cyber refers to to a computer or a computer network,
the electric medium in which online communication
takes place.” Thus, cyber crime is any crime commited
in cyberspace. Be it cybersex, cyberbullying, identity
theft, unsolicited commercial communications, or
child pornography.

Cybercrime
To protect the citizen, the government mandated the
Republic Act No. 10175 or the Cybercrime
Prevention Act of 2012.

This law mandates every kind of cybercrime.

Child Pornography
In relation to cybercrime, child pornography has been a
pressing concern of this generation. As defined, child
pornography refers to any representation whether visual, audio,
or written combination thereof, by any means, child engaged or
involved in real or simulated sexual activities.

Also known as the Anti-Pornography Act of 2009, R.A. No.
9775 defines the crimes of child pornography.

Not only the victim can file a complaint, but the
parents/guardians, relative, officer or social worker, DSWD,
barangay chairman, law enforcement officer, or atleast three
concerned citizen in the same place where the crime occurred.

Law. This act penalizes those who will go too far during
initiation rites wherein the applicants is subjected to severe pain
and suffering.

Education Act of 2008 promotes environmental
awareness through environmental education
integrated by various agencies such as the DSWD,
DOST, and DENR. It encompass the concepts,
principles, laws, international and national best
practices, threats of degradation and its impact to
human well being, the responsibilities of human to
conserve, protect,and rehabilitation of resources, and
sustainable development of the environment.

Seat Belts Use Act of 1999 aims to secure
and safeguard passengers and drivers from
injuries and other effects of vehicle
accidents. This policy includes mandatory
wearing of seatbelts by the driver and the
passengers of any vehicle. This also
prohibits a child to seat in front.

Anti-Drunk and Drugged Driving Law penalizes those
who will be caught driving under the influence.
