PATIENT ENTITLEMENT

• Based on the PDS card.

• Eligible Patient: A patient who is a resident of Karnataka


State and belongs to "Eligible Household" as defined
under the National Food Security Act, 2013. Free
treatment is given.

• General Patient: The treatment cost will be on


copayment basis. 30% by SAST+70% by patient

• One time enrollment process.


• Based on Aadhar card number.
• Unique ArKID number is given.

PROCESS

• Patient enrollment
• Patient categorized as ELIGIBLE or
GENERAL patient.
• ArKID generated
• UHC card provided.
• Patient can access treatement under the
scheme.

BENEFITS

• One time enrollment, no need for renewal.


• Protection of patient’s rights that
guarantee appropriateness of care, patient
choice, probability and continuity of care.
• Financial assistance up to INR 5 lakhs per
annum will be provided for specified
treatments to a family that comes under
eligible category.

of government package rates, with overall
annual limit of INR 1.5 lakhs per family per
year is given
