Excel toolbar (also called Quick
Access Toolbar. It enables users to
save important shortcuts and
easily access them when needed.

In Excel, the Name Box refers to
an input box directly to the left
of the formula bar. The Name
Box normally displays the
address of the "active cell" on
the worksheet. You can also use
the name box to quickly create a
named range. Another use for the
Name Box is to navigate quickly
to any range in a worksheet.

SELECT ALL BUTTON-
select All button sits at the
upper left of all worksheets, at
the origin of row and column
labels. You can use the Select
All button to quickly select all
cells in a worksheet.

ACTIVE CELL- The
ActiveCell property returns a
Range object that represents
the cell that is active. You can
apply any of the properties or
methods of a Range object to
the active cell, as in the
following example. While one
or more worksheet cells may
be selected, only one of the
cells in the selection can be the
ActiveCell

ROW HEADING - A row
heading identifies a row on
a worksheet. Row headings
are at the left of each row
and are indicated by
numbers.

SHEET TABS-By clicking
the sheet tabs at the bottom
of the Excel window, you can
quickly select one or more
sheets. To enter or edit data
on several worksheets at the
same time, you can group
worksheets by selecting
multiple sheets. You can also
format or print a selection of
sheets at the same time.

The Sheet Tab Scroll Buttons
are another means of
navigating between sheets of
the workbook other than
selecting a tab. The value of
this functionality will become
more evident with the use of
multiple worksheets.

STATUS BAR- A status bar is an
area at the bottom of a primary
window that displays
information about the current
window's state (such as what is
being viewed and how),
background tasks (such as
printing, scanning, and
formatting), or other contextual
information (such as selection
and keyboard state)

TITLE BAR - The title bar at
the top of a window displays
an application-defined icon
and line of text. The text
specifies the name of the
application and indicates the
purpose of the window.

FORMULA BAR-Excel
formula bar is a special
toolbar at the top of the Excel
worksheet window, labeled
with function symbol (fx).
You can use it to enter a new
formula or copy an existing
one

COLUMN HEADINGS-
Column Headers basically
tell us the category of the
data in that column to which
it belongs. For example, if
column A contains Date,
then Column header for
Column A will be “Date”, or
suppose column B contains
Names of the student, then
column header for Column
B will be “Student Name”.

WORKSHEET WINDOW -
The worksheet window
contains the open, active
worksheet. Worksheet
windows can be moved and
sized.

RIBBON-Microsoft Excel
ribbon is the row of tabs and
icons at the top of the Excel
window that allows you to
quickly find, understand and
use commands for
completing a certain task

HORIZONTAL SCROLL BAR-
horizontal scroll bar enables the
user to scroll the content of a
window to the left or right. A
vertical scroll bar enables the
user to scroll the content up or
down

feature in Zoom allows you to take control
of another participant's screen during a

The Standard Toolbar gives the user access to file
operations, printing, movement of data blocks, the undo
system, and to some of the powerful tools like the
function creator and the graphing system.

The formatting toolbar provides access to several text
formatting functions such as font size and color, text
alignment, lists, and the like. Applies the selected font
to the text.
