INTRODUCTION
The least common of the three types of
cardiomyopathies
It is dominated by abnormal diastolic function,
often with mildly decreased contractility and
ejection fraction (usually >30–50%).
Both atria are enlarged, sometimes massively.
Anticoagulation is recommended.
