Corporate Meditation
What is Meditation ?
• NOT CONCENTRATION
Yang, effort, mental, work, thinking

• NOT RELAXATION
Yin, easing off, snoozing, emoting
Meditation is….
A STATE OF MENTAL SILENCE
Primary characteristic ~ NOT THINKING!
i.e. thoughts drop away leaving you in

“Thoughtless Awareness”.
Why Meditation ?
• Stress = Poor Performance
absenteeism, staff turnover,
Distress, Disease, Dysfunction, (Death)

• Meditation = Peak Performance

(Flow States, The Zone or Zen State)
• calm, creative, positive, healthy
Peaceful, Perceptive, Productive
Stress In the USA
• 27 percent of American workers rated
their jobs as the most stressful factor in their lives,
even more so than divorce or death
• Stress related disorders are becoming the
most prevalent reason for worker disability claims
• A recent survey of 46,000 + employees indicated that
medical care costs were 46% higher for those who reported
being stressed (18% of total sample)
• The cost of stress to the US workplace, in terms of lost
productivity, worker turnover, health and safety issues etc
has been estimated as a cost of…. $17 billion
Work Stress
• Costly
• Treatable
• Preventable

• Treatment of stress after it has happened….

(very expensive) and too late?
• Before it happens…. prevention is better
(and much cheaper) than cure

• Stressors are personal, yet they have a common pathway

• Thoughts are of just two types : futuristic & retrospective

• Reality, and optimal performance, are in The Present

• True meditation is a scientifically verifiable experience

• Meditation enhances well-being, reduces disease states

• Anyone can learn how to meditate, and they should

Keep your right hand on your
heart, close your eyes and sincerely
repeat a few times in your heart:

“I am the pure spirit.

I am not this mind, this body, this
ego, these conditionings.
I am the pure spirit.”
For the energy to pass through your
centres you have to get rid of your
guilt.. You have to forgive yourself.

So now put your right hand on

the left side of your neck and
repeat several times in your
heart:

“I am not guilty...
I am the pure spirit, so
how can I be guilty?
I am not guilty at all.”
Now when we have
forgiven ourselves we
should forgive others...

Put your right hand on your forehead, bend your

head a little and sincerely from your heart say:

“I forgive.
I forgive everybody,
everything.”
Self Realisation can not be
forced on you.
You have to desire it...

Express your desire by putting your right hand

on the last centre - on top of your head - Press it..
Bend your head a little forward. And sincerely ask The Energy
to awaken in you.

“Please awaken in me..

Please give me my
Self Realisation.”
