GOD’S ECONOMY

EPHESIANS 1:10-23
INTRODUCTION

• The church is of God’s economy (Eph. 3:9-10). The word economy is used in Ephesians 1:10 and
3:9. Verse 10 of chapter one speaks of “Ephesians 1:10 That in the dispensation of the fulness of
times”
• The church is also of God’s good pleasure (Eph. 1:9). Our God is a living God. He is a living
person who has a desire, a pleasure, and a will. He wishes to do something. What He wants to do,
what He wishes to do, is His will. Based upon His desire and His wish, His will, He made a plan,
and that plan is His household administration, His economy to circulate through his people
• An economy is an area of the production, distribution and trade, as well as consumption of
goods and services.
MEANING
THE PRODUCTION
• Ephesians 1:9 Having made known unto
us the mystery of his will, according to
his good pleasure which he hath
purposed in himself:

CONCLUSION

• We believers as the followers of Jesus are

also men living God, expressing God, and
letting God live out through us in our
humanity. We Christians do not live
according to our wisdom or our cleverness.
We live God. The unbelievers may think that
we are foolish, but actually we are the wisest
people. On the other hand, the apostle Paul
said that “we are fools because of Christ” (1
Cor. 4:10).
