How to install a logger

 Antenna: Secured in a VERTICAL position

 Power: Plug into a 220V power source

 USB: Directly plug into your computer

RF CHANNEL

 Must be a unique number from 1 to 16

 Sensors must match the channel configured on the logger

 Must not match any nearby channel

Once you receive your package, it is recommended to:

 Make sure to clean the thermowell from the inside thoroughly

 Put some EPF oil inside the thermowell before installing it on the sensor

 Check the unit of measurement on your sensor

 Inspect the thread and make sure that it is not damaged

Once you receive your package, it is recommended to:

 Check the unit of measurement on your sensor

 Inspect the thread and make sure that it is not damaged

 Make sure that the fittings have the right pressure rating

 Inspect the H&L fittings and make sure they are not damaged

Once you receive your package, it is recommended to:

 Check the unit of measurement on your sensor

 Install the magnetic pickup correctly

 Install the clamps on a secure surface to hold the meter safely

 Check the certification by looking up the serial number on emms

Sensor configuration

 RF CHANNEL: Must match the channel set on the logger

 UNIT SELECTION: Must be the correct unit of measurement for the sensor

 BAUD RT: Must match the frequency of the logger

 RF ID: Must be a unique number from 1 to 100 for each sensor

 Sampling rate: The rate at which the data will be transmitted from the sensor
SENSOR CONFIGURATION

For an example, configure a temperature sensor with the following

 Channel =2
 RF = 19.2
 ID = 20
 UNIT = Celsius
 SENSOR CONFIGURATION (Channel)

Your sensor is now set on channel 2

 SENSOR CONFIGURATION (RF/Radio Frequency)

Your sensor is now set on RF 19.2MHz

 SENSOR CONFIGURATION (RF ID/SENSOR ID)

ID number 20 is now set for your sensor

SENSING UNIT FOR THE SENSOR HAS BEEN SET

SENSOR DIAGNOSIS (LINK TEST)

SENSOR LINK TEST HAS BEEN COMPLETED

 SENSOR DIAGNOSIS (Battery voltage)

The brand new battery voltage should be 3.6V.

However, 3.4V-3.6V is also acceptable
If the voltage is below 3.4V, the battery should be replaced
