Haiku
Haiku poems are generally written to describe
nature.
The most widely recognized form consists of a
three-line stanza that has a total of 17 syllables,
written in the following pattern:
Please remember:
First line: 5 syllables
Second line: 7 syllables
Third line: 5 syllables
Your poem should create a visual image about
your topic.
Haiku Comic Strips
Haiku poems create visual images. Some
writers choose to write haiku in the form of
a comic strip.
