Materials
Oral communication requires appropriate
materials such as visual aids, handouts, and
other relevant resources to support the message
being conveyed. These materials should be
clear, concise, and relevant to the audience and
the message being communicated.
Message
The message is the main content of the
communication. A well-crafted message should be
clear, concise, and relevant to the audience. The
message should also be organized in a logical
manner that is easy for the audience to follow.
Methods of delivery

There are several methods of delivery that can be used in

oral communication, including verbal, non-verbal, and
written. Verbal delivery includes speaking clearly and using
Phase 1 appropriate tone, pace, and volume. Non-verbal delivery
includes body language, gestures, and facial expressions.
Phase 2Written delivery includes using visual aids and handouts.

Manners in Speech
Manners in speech refer to the way in which the speaker conducts
themselves during the communication process. This includes using
appropriate language, maintaining eye contact, and being attentive to
the audience's needs and concerns. The speaker should also avoid
