Today we will be discussing 11 traits that transforms an ordinary manager to a successful and influential
leader.
1. Self-Managing
Is it possible to manage and influence a group of people without managing yourself first?
Clearly you can't, people tend to correspond to leaders whom they see as idols.
Self-managing revolves around the ability for an individual to be aware of his strengths, weaknesses and
bias sources. In addition to the ability of self and emotions control.
Time management and Balancing between professional and personal life are also important aspects of self-
management.
2. Strategic Mindset
Which refers to being able to adjust and cultivate new strategies as the market develops.
A flexible and open mindset is highly required in the current times, so leaders should always be ready to
adjust and grasp new opportunities.
3. Effective Communication
Communicating is not just about Speech it also includes effective listening.

Leaders must be able to handle problems and make choices in situations that are always changing. Any
leader must develop the ability to lead in a complex setting.
Effective leaders must evaluate the complexity of a situation and decide on the best courses of action even
before any conclusive information is available.

Leaders need to have the guts to support innovation and risk-taking. By doing this, you will encourage the
creativity that will guide your company to new locations and around the curves of a shifting business
landscape.
The secret is to always be tenacious in pursuing your objectives, as well as flexible and open-minded in how
you get there.

The individuals you work with will help you lead effectively. Building a team is crucial for managing a
