CONCLUSION
• The US-China trade war has also
provided a wake-up call to various
stakeholders regarding some of the less
desirable consequences in letting China
have a free rein with Foreign Direct
Investment(FDI).

• Increasing trade uncertainty,

diminishing returns of globalisation and
increasing costs of redistribution
underpin this wave.
