BACKGROUND

• Economy conflict between China and the U.S.


• China is the largest exporter and the U.S is the
largest importer.
• Increase in the trade deficit of the U.S lead to
this conflict between them by almost $800
billions.
• Intellectual Property Theft.
• Forced transfer of technology from America to
China
OBJECTIVES OF THE CONFLICT

• To stop the trade war between the U.S and china.


• To overcome the trade deficit.
• To get the money for the stolen intellectual property.

TYPE OF CONFLICT

• This is a dysfunctional conflict between both the


countries.
• Reasons for it being a dysfunctional are as
follows.
1. Both the countries have lost the moral ground.
2. No one wants to leave their points.
3. China said they have done what was needed
from their end which the U.S defy.
RESOLVING ATTEMPTS

• The India and other countries came to a mutual agreement with the U.S for a win- win situation.
• Meetings of bureaucrats were done of the U.S and china.
• China said they are opening the market for the U.S companies.
• The Import trade of the china from the U.S was increased by 8%.
• China reduced the tariffs on 16 types American imports
WHAT WAS DONE ULTIMATELY

• Ultimately it is still in progress as all the stakeholders are interfering in the conflict and trying to
resolve it by their own means and methods.
• Few have been succeeded and others are still in the process.
• The china and the U.S are still in conflict while few of the other stakeholders have resolved their
conflict with the U.S.
DID THE ISSUES REMAINS RESOLVED

• The issues was not resolved for the 2


stakeholders while the others where ok with
the agreements made by themselves
respectively.
• The conflict between the U.S and china was
remain unsolved.
IMPACT ON US

• Although the impact was indirect.


• The hardware equipment's from the U.S were sold at a costlier price from the usual.
• Certain Intellectual property from the U.S was taken back by them.
• Due to this trade war economy of few of the stakeholders were affected (Canada, India).
• The import of the U.S was reduced to half and practices to increase the export were increased.
