This refers to the steps an organization


takes to teach its employees the skills
and knowledge they need to perform
their job effectively.
The process usually involves various
forms of training such as:

On- the- Job Training


Classroom Training
E-learning
Coaching and mentoring

• Ensure that employees have the skills and
knowledge they need to perform their jobs
effectively.
• To keep up with changing technology and
industry trend
• To support the overall goals of the
organization.

1. Need Analysis.

This involves identifying the specific skills and


knowledge that employees need in order to
perform their jobs effectively, as well as any gaps
in the current knowledge or performance.

2. Design
This involves creating a training program that
will address the identified gaps and needs. This
may involve selecting or creating training
materials, identifying trainers or facilitators, and
scheduling training sessions.

3. Implementation

- This involves actually delivering the training to


employees. This may involve a variety of
methods, such as classroom training, e-learning
on the job training, coaching or mentoring or a
combination of these.

4. Evaluation

This involves assessing the effectiveness of the


training program. This may involve collecting
feedback from employees, measuring changes in
performance or behavior or analyzing other metrics
such as employee retention and productivity
