Objectives
A keyboard is an input device and is the most basic way for the user to communicate with a computer.
This device is patterned after its predecessor, the typewriter, from which the keyboard inherited its
layout, although the keys or letters are arranged to function as electronic switches. It is a part of a
computer used to type.It has many keys.
Cursor: It is a blinking line that we see on the screen while typing. It shows the position where text will
appear.
Types of keys:
1. Symbol keys
2. Special Keys
3. Spacebar key
4. Arrow keys
5. Caps Lock key
6. Shift key
Flashback (Questioning)
Students should be able to type text containing punctuations and other special keys.
EXAMPLE:
Quotation marks (“ ”) are the key to writing clear dialogues. Place them around the exact
words that your character says, but not around any tags that identify the speaker.
For example, “I love French toast.”
