Martin Heidegger was an german philosopher who is best known for
contribution to Phenomenolgy, hermeneutics, and existentialism. He is among
the mostiportant influential philosophers of 20th century. He was been widely
critisized for supporting the Nazi Party after his election as rector at te University
of Freiburg in 1933, and there has been controversy about the relationship
between his philosophy and nazism.
Where Martin Heidegger Educated?
Martin Heidegger studied theopology and the
the philosophy at the university of Freiburg,
where he completed a dissertation on
psychologism in 1913 and a habilitation
thesis(a qualification for university teaching) n
the scholastic philosopher Jonh Duns Scotus in
1915. In that year he also joined the faculty of
feiburg as privatdozent, or leturer.
Define Heidegger’s Dasein concept.

Fundamental concept in the existential philosophy of Martin Heidegger. Heidegger uses the
expression Dasein to refer to the experience of being that is peculiar to human beings. Thus it is a form
of being that is aware of and must confront such issues as personhood, mortality and the dilemma or
paradox of living in relationship with other humans while being ultimately alone with oneself. In
German, Dasein is the vernacular term for "existence", as in "I am pleased with my existence" (Ich bin
mit meinem Dasein zufrieden). The term was used by several philosophers before Heidegger, most
notably Georg Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel, with the meaning of "determined being" (bestimmtes Sein),
The union of Being and Nothing (Quality).[2] It is derived from da-sein, which literally means "being-
there"/"there-being"[3]—though Heidegger was adamant that this was an inappropriate translation of
Dasein.[4] Dasein for Heidegger can be a way of being involved with and caring for the immediate
world in which one lives, while always remaining aware of the contingent element of that involvement,
of the priority of the world to the self, and of the evolving nature of the self itself.[3]
What is Death?
the action or fact of dying or being
killed; the end of the life of a person or
organism:
Death isn’t only a universal experience.
It is also inescapably personal. And this
separates it from most other experiences
in life.
Heidegger's ideas about death. Death has always been a major
concern of humanity since the beginning of history, and finding the
secret of immortality and escaping death has become the subject of
many myths and ancient stories. Among philosophers who have
addressed the subject of death, Heidegger addressed not only immortality
and life after death but also the nature of death during one's existence. In
his view, man (which he named Existence) through death become aware
of his finitude, and thus, Heidegger chooses human beings as the only way
of understanding existence among creatures.Heidegger critiques the
philosophy of his predecessors and traditional etaphysics
and defines his final thougas understandingexistence.
The most authentic thought about existence comes from
wisdom, and that thought can begin when human beings believe
that the idea of a saviour among the centuries is the largest
enemy of original thought.
