Problem Statement Title: Suggest an effective way for tackling the issue of
improper disposal of personal COVID protection equipment which leads to an
additional strain on the city authorities who were already grappling with single
use plastic menace.

⮚ Physical contact between patient and doctor is avoided. ⮚ MAX30100 Pulse Oximeter: It is an integrated pulse
oximetry and heart-rate sensor module which measures blood
⮚ It saves a lot of time and money. oxygen level in % and pulse in BPM respectively.
⮚ It gives comfort to both doctor and patients in the pandemic time. ⮚ DS18B20 Temperature Sensor: This is pre-wired and
⮚ Family members of patients who are far away can also see the vital parameter waterproof version of a 1 Wire DS18B20-compatible
readings through the app. Temperature sensor.

⮚ In Future the Project can be modified to send an alert message immediately to ⮚ DHT-11 Sensor: It uses the concept capacitive humidity

in the vital parameters. atmosphere and gives out a digital signal on its data pin.
⮚ MQ-7 Gas Sensor: The gas sensitive material which detects
carbon monoxide with low temperatures (heated by 1.5V)
through high-low temperature cycles.
⮚ NODEMCU: This module is mainly based on ESP8266
which is a low-cost Wi-Fi microchip incorporating both a full
TCP/IP stack and microcontroller capability.

Describe your Use Cases here Describe your Dependencies / Show stopper here
⮚ Reduced costs – With this project, patient health monitoring can be done in
real-time by cutting down the need for doctors going out and making house
visits which are not advisable in the pandemic time.

⮚ Better patient overall experience – With a connected healthcare system an

environment that is required by each patient can be created. Dedicated
procedures, enhanced treatment options and improved diagnosis accuracy
makes a better patient experience.

⮚ Improved disease management – With real-time health monitoring

provided the doctor can spot any disease before it spreads and becomes a
critical situation.

⮚ Homecare – Machine to Machine technology allows patients to be

monitored in comfort of their homes. Sensors are installed onto various
pieces of medical apparatus near the bed of a patient. The data gathered is
sent to the hospital or to the doctor who analyses it for any abnormalities.

⮚ Data Security- With the help of Blynk App the monitored data is delivered
only to authorized people like Doctors or Family members. Nobody else can
see the data unless the ID and Password of this Blynk Project is shared.

⮚ Easy to use- No specific technical knowledge is required to use this project

and the Blynk App is also easy to use.
