1.- PRESENT SIMPLE
Something that is true in the present

• Examples:
1. I play football every weekend.
2. I’m 22 years old.
3. I work in London.
4. Emma watches cartoons every day.
5. We go to the university Daily.
6. She goes to the gym daily.
2.- PRESENT CONTINUOUS
Activities at the moment of speaking

• Examples:
1. I am writing articles on different topics.
2. He is reading various kinds of books.
3. I am listening to melodious songs.
4. Are you coming to our home?
5. You are shopping in that market.
6. We are coming for shopping in this market.
3.- PAST SIMPLE
Something that happened once in the past

• Examples:
1. I washed the dishes.
2. She walked to the store yesterday.
3. Did we watch a movie?
4. Where did you go last night?
5. They made a cake for us.
6. When was the last time you had a party?
4.- PAST CONTINUOUS
For something which happened before and after another action

• Example:
It was midnight when it was raining.
You were working yesterday.
They were going to the library.
Where were you playing soccer yesterday?
They were eating at the restaurant.
When was the movie playing?
