This guide will contain a comprehensive implementation
strategy with required activities that must be carried out by
the BHU incharge and other staff. It also contains SOPs that
must be maintained at the facility in the BHU

The BHU is identifiable with name and PHC


registration/licence Number on Sign Boards

Location of BHU is easily accessible to people

Door plates at offices/rooms clearly display name,


qualification, designation of the staff on duty as well as
the patient services

The staff on duty uses the provided identity badges

Incharge displays organogram of BHU

Incharge displays sanctioned vs filled positions of BSU

There are arrangements for monitoring the attendance,


presence and punctuality of the staff.

BHU incharge is responsible to monitor and measure the


performance of the BHU against the given targets.
