Based from the first quarter SMEA report of Milaor
PROJECT National High School for S/Y 2022-2023, 545 out of 1315 (41.44
BACKGROUND % ) is the failure rate in the Junior High School. The same data
shows that Senior High School out of 490 learners only 34 or
6.94 % failed which is beyond the standard of 0-2% failure rate.
During the first quarter, it was indicated that among the
JHS grade level, grade 10 revealed 174 or 31.93 % of learners
failed. Furthermore, among the 8 learning areas in the grade 10
level, English has the highest failure rate of 118 out of 545
(21.65%) and Grade 10 Flordeliz has the highest failure rate of
16 students or 30.76%.
To address this alarming problem, Milaor National High
School decided to conduct a project RAFT “Revitalized Action
for Failure Trend in School “to understand the situation better
and be able to get the main cause and accurate analysis of the
problem. This project aims to lessen or prevent the increasing
percentage of failure students to formulate plans, programs and
interventions toward failure rate of the student’s.
