Womens Safety and Places

Awarness
ABSTRACT:
• In this project, we are giving women safety using android application. If they are any dangerous
zone, we will send SMS to nearby location and two our mobile contacts. So first, we have to store
those details in database. As well as we can find area wise problem also. Whenever we have to go
another place, we can get awareness for those places like recent problems, functions, news, etc.
• A novel method called location-based delivery (LBD), which combines SMS and GPS, is proposed,
and further, a realistic system to perform precise location tracking is developed. LBD mainly
applies the following two proposed techniques: Location prediction and dynamic threshold.

• Location prediction is performed by using the current location, moving speed, and bearing of
the target to predict its next location. When the distance between the predicted location and
the actual location exceeds a certain threshold, the target transmits a short message to the
tracker to update its current location. The dynamic threshold maintains the location tracking
accuracy and number of short messages on the basis of the moving speed of the target.
INTRODUCTION:
• Location prediction is performed by using the current location, moving speed, and
bearing of the target to predict its next location. When the distance between the
predicted location and the actual location exceeds a certain threshold, the target
transmits a short message to the tracker to update its current location. The dynamic
threshold maintains the location tracking accuracy and number of short messages on the
basis of the moving speed of the target.
OBJECTIVE:
• We propose a novel method called location-based delivery (LBD),
which combines the short message service (SMS) and global position
system (GPS).
EXISTING SYSTEM:
• this system, a device is equipped with a global system for mobile
communications (GSM) modem and a GPS unit. It transmits short messages
containing its GPS coordinates to the server at 30-s intervals. Although
transmitting the geo-location information of a target via wireless networks
is effective when both the target and the tracker are within Wi-Fi coverage
area, the 802.11 wireless networks are not always accessible. When the
target or the tracker is unable to access Wi-Fi, it is impossible to perform
location tracking. Therefore, SMS is a relatively more reliable and flexible
solution because of its widespread use. However, SMS is a user-pay service.
The transmission cost of a tracking system by the number of SMS
transmissions while maintaining the location tracking accuracy is high.
DIS ADVANTAGES:
• Tracker and target should be in same Wi-Fi coverage area.
• SMS is a user-pay service but the number of SMS transmissions is
high.
• When the target or the tracker is unable to access Wi-Fi, it is
impossible to perform location tracking.
PROPOSED SYSTEM:
• In this System, a novel method called location-based delivery (LBD), which
combines the short message service (SMS) and global position system
(GPS). LBD reduces the number of short message transmissions while
maintaining the location tracking accuracy within the acceptable range.
The proposed approach, LBD, consists of three primary features: Short
message format, location prediction, and dynamic threshold. The defined
short message format is proprietary. Location prediction is performed by
using the current location, moving speed, and bearing of the target to
predict its next location. When the distance between the predicted
location and the actual location exceeds a certain threshold, the target
transmits a short message to the tracker to update its current location.
ADVANTAGES:
• It satisfactorily maintains the location tracking accuracy with
relatively fewer messages.
• The threshold is dynamically adjusted to maintain the location
tracking accuracy.
• Speed delivery to customers.
• Customer Satisfaction.

conclusion:
• The rapid urbanization taking place the world over has opened up a whole
new chapter of research, drawing linkages between political economy, social
relations, safety and communities. Alongside this wave of modernization that
is sweeping the cities, there is an undercurrent of a deepening sense of
isolation and increasing vulnerability of sections of society that have
traditionally been at a disadvantage because of their gender, class, migrant
status, age or sexual orientation. This vulnerability is manifest, most
importantly, in the manner in which these groups are denied or are unable to
access what the city has to offer, thereby affecting their quality of life in
ways that compel them to negotiate their movements across the city even as
they face pressures of all kinds. Among the many axes of discrimination and
exclusion, gender occupies a central position.
