PRESENTATION FIVE YEARS AFTER.
• My name is Fernando González. I'm 25 years old. My
house is in the northeast section of Puerto Montt, where
all the villas are, and I am not married. I work as a
Technical Support in a fishing company and I get home
every day at 8 p.m. I eat very late. I don't smoke, nor do
I drink. I go to bed at 11 p.m. m. And I make sure I get
eight hours of sleep, no matter what. After drinking a
glass of warm milk and doing about twenty minutes of
stretching before bed, I usually have no trouble sleeping
until morning. Just like a baby, I wake up without
fatigue or stress in the morning.
 IT SUPPORT WORK ROUTINE.
I arrive at the plant, I leave my coat ON THE HANGERS, I go directly to my work area (Workshop)
and I sit in the living room, with the laptop, which I have left there the night before. Where I have
noted the tasks that I want to do, that after a previous review of the inventory and messages from
Microsoft Teams, my job is to receive computers from former workers that I must back up the
information, format them, and then install programs and set a time with the successor for delivery, all
before recess. Sometimes I will go out to the field to change ink to the printers and others to install
monitors, or visit THE WAREHOUSE in search of Dokin, Tinys, backpacks, MOUSEPAD and
keyboards. Depending on the Tickets I receive, I will also have to help users through Teamviewer
remotely.
MY 2 FAVORITE PARTS OF THE WORK
I DO.
• I help a lot of people through frustrating times virtually or face to face, depending on where I
work, I love connecting with new people.
• When you work for someone else you don't have to think so much: you have to execute the
work that they send you. And you have the security of a salary at the end of the month.
 THE ADVANTAGES AND DISADVANTAGES OF
THE JOB I HAVE CHOSEN.
Advantage
• 8 hours of work a day are not necessary, they include talks with colleagues, stops at the
coffee machine, walks when I go out into the field, I am not still.
• In the Workshop the schedule is continuous, not concentration or creativity. You have to
stop from time to time.
• Sometimes, you work remotely for the company, from home. Only in special cases such
as pandemics, holidays, anniversaries or medical leave, etc.
DisAdvantages
• Lack of Stock stagnates tasks, causing them to accumulate during the day.
• The work can be intensified in the Training weeks. Full responsibility for the results.
• The routine tends to become monotonous and I can get distracted. I need motivation and
previous organization.
 PLACES I WOULD LIKE TO VISIT SOON
• Visit the Chilean part of Antartida as soon as possible, because I want to freshen up.
• I would love to visit Easter Island because because soon it will cease to exist
