INTRODUCTION
A building can be generally considered as a
structure consisting of floor, walls ,roofs, to provide
different services such as residence, commercial,
entertainment, workshop etc
The design consist of 100'×100' site ground
floor construct the parking, garden, small swimming
pool, construct the 50×100 build up area, twin tower
(40-10-40) 2 to 3 floors
OBJECTIVES
 Experiencing and learning more about construction site
environment that will face after becoming a surveyor and
entering construction industry.
 Understand about importance of safety and notes that
should be taken before entering to a construction site for
the accidents that may happen there, such as wearing
helmet.
 Learning about basic process of construction by observing
a real example of working space, plus observing and
comparing topics that taught by lecturers at university.
 More understanding about construction technology of
buildings and different methods of constructing, plus
explore and identify different types of building materials.
METHODOLOGY

Introduction of AutoCAD:
AutoCAD is the Automatic Computer Aided
Design and Drafting program, it is 2-Dimensional
(2D) and 3-Dimensional (3D) modelling , software.
AutoCAD was developed by Autodesk (39 years
ago). AutoCAD was first released in December
1982 as a desktop app running on microcomputers
with internal graphics controllers.
Floor Plan :
In architecture and building engineering, a floor
plan is a technical drawing to scale, showing a view
from above, of the relationships between rooms,
spaces, traffic patterns, and other physical features at
one level of a structure. Dimensions are usually
drawn between the walls to specify room sizes and
wall lengths. Floor plans may also include details of
fixtures like sinks, water heaters, furnaces, etc. Floor
plans may include notes for construction to specify
finishes, construction methods, or symbols
for electrical items.
Types of Floor Plan:
i. Electrical drawing
ii. Masonry drawing
Electrical plan :
A house electrical plan is a drawing that
contains architectural and engineering elements
that outline the power, wiring, lighting, and
communication components in your home. Also
known as a house wiring diagram, it is intended to
show how energy is distributed to equipment and
appliances.
Masonry drawing :
Masonry drawing in a AutoCAD is all about the
dimensions of the wall (interior as well as exterior
wall dimensions) excluding the openings is known
as Masonry drawing
Plumbing work plan :
A plumbing drawing, a type of technical drawing, shows
the system of piping for fresh water going into the building
and waste going out, both solid and liquid. It also includes fuel
gas drawings, Mainly plumbing drawing consist of water supply
system drawings, drainage system drawings, irrigation system
drawings, storm water system drawings. In water supply
system drawing there will be hot water piping and cold-water
piping and hot water return piping also. In drainage system
drawings there will be waste piping. Soil piping and vent
piping. The set of drawing of each system like water supply.
Sketch Up :
Sketch Up is a suite of subscription products that include SketchUp Pro Desktop, a
3D modeling computer program for a broad range of drawing and design applications
including architectural, interior design, industrial and product design, landscape
architecture, civil and mechanical engineering, theatre, film and video game development.
Owned by Trimble Inc., the program is currently available as a web-based
application, Sketch Up Free, and three paid subscriptions, SketchUp Shop, Sketch Up Pro,
and Sketch Up Studio, each with
increasing functionality. The program includes drawing layout functionality, surface
rendering in different "styles", and enables placement of its models within Google Earth.
SITE VISIT

A site visit to construction site was organized on 13th of

September 2022 by the company named "CONTRIVER". The company
is located in "New Town Yelahanka , Bangalore city. The location of
the site is Bilijajji Survey RS7,Bengalore North Taluk, Hesaraghatta
Hebli . Multi-Store Building Constractions YELAHANKA BANGALORE.
Then based on the plan, all the students gathered over there at 10'o
clock. Before anything, all the safety precautions give by the site
Engineer who is present on that Date. Such as wearing helmet and
proper shoes. Then the in-charge site Engineer given the details of
the site and explained all details. The "NCC company" secured the
contract on 10 April 2022 and expected to be completed by Feb
2023.
CONCLUSION
At the end of this Internship, we had got the knowledge of
designing of Two dimensional(2D) plans in AutoCAD. Such as,
Masonry Plan, Electric Plan, plumbing work plan, etc according to
the vastu. The use of the computer aided design for the engineers
and designers also influenced the development of the construction
industry.
At the end of the site visit and experiencing real working
space and the Environment of construction. I realized that working
at construction site is much more different and also more difficult,
because of the weather conditions and the risks exist.
This site visit gave me a chance to experience and learn what
cannot be Gained during lectures or tutorials. One of the first things
that, I have learnt is understanding the importance of safety which is
a basic of construction, because of all dangers exist on site.
