LESSON: HUMAN MIGRATION
OBJECTIVES:
to acquire knowledge about migration, its types and its
motivators:
to apply reflective decision-making justified by an individual’s
stand or values through engaging with a dilemma relating to
migration as a topic.

to clarify students’ value, in an oral presentation, individually,


they will showcase their reasoning ability for their respective
stand or decision in regards with the given dilemma.

INSTRUCTIONS:

• Afterwards, post your answers on the board following the arrows as your guide.

1. How did you find doing the word cloud activity? Why?

2. In choosing a place to migrate, individually, in the activity,

Esteve is a family man, he has six children, and his income in his
current job is barely enough to sustain their daily needs. He is torn
between finding a new and better job in Philippines or going abroad
to work (OFW). If you are in the place of Esteve, how will you
decide?

The Value Clarification Approach
-to clarify the value chosen by the learner wherein students are not
criticized of the value they have chosen.

 Clarify students’ goals, priorities, values, and decisions
 Has to be a rational process
 Helps an individual to relate their thoughts and their feelings which result in the awareness of
their own values
 Help students to identify their core personalities
 Provide a role model within themselves
 Provide insight of own personality.
