• Place rail from rack into double
bender.
• Slide rail tubing until they are touching
stop.
• Turn rail tubing so that the weld is facing Seam of tubing
up.(this will reduce the possibility of
seam splitting during the bend process.)
• Use hand controls to activate bender.
Remove hands from controls once
bender has completed bends of rail.
Remove rail from bender.
Rotate so that legs are facing down.
Place rail on rack.
• Check length of legs with tape measure.
• Reverse rail so that the left leg of 1st rail lines up
with right leg of 2nd rail.
• Check rails that the bend angle matches on both
sides and that the top rails are even.
• Place 1st filler in bottom part of
rail then place 2nd filler in
towards top about 6” down
from bend.
• Filler should fit snug on top and
bottom.
• If filler will not fit or there is a
gap put rail into scrap pile.
• Make adjustments to double
bender and check again.
• Slide adjustable clamp onto rail leg just
under bend.
• Make sure bolt is on the inside of bend and
tighten down using impact with 9/16”
socket.
