Microsoft PowerPoint is the third component

of MS Office package, Developed and
marketed by Microsoft Company of USA.
It is use to create presentation.
Presentation is a strong media to express our
fillings, ideas etc.
We can use text, graphics, sounds, number,
symbol and animation for create presentation.
 Animation : - Animation means making live
that means making a movement in graphics or
text.
 Note: ­- The default file name of MS
PowerPoint is "Presentation 1" and the
extension name is ".PPTX".
 Slide : - Each page of MS PowerPoint is
called slide.
 Presentation : - Each file of MS PowerPoint is
called Presentation.
How can we open MS PowerPoint?

 Microsoft Office
 Microsoft Office PowerPoint
 Ok.
 Process: - II
 Press "window + R"
 Type "Powerpnt"
 Ok.

 Slides:
 New Slide : - By this option we can open a new slide.
 Layout : - This option is use to change the layout of selected slide.
 Reset : - It is use to reset the size, position and formatting of selected slide.
 Delete : - By this option we can delete the selected slide.
 Font : - By the help of this option we can do all formatting related to
font. Like change font size, style, color....etc.
 Paragraph : - By the help of this group we can align our text and also we
can insert bullet list, numbering in our presentation.
Drawing : - This option is use to insert predefined shapes and also use to
arrange them.
 Quick style : - This option is use to choose a visual style for selected
shape.
 Shape Effects : - This option is use to apply different shape effects on
selected shapes. Like shadow, glow...etc.
 INSERT TAB
 Tables : - By the help of this option we can insert table into our
presentation according to our requirement.
 Illustration : - By the help of this group we can insert Picture,
chart, clipart, smart art.....etc into our document.
 Photo Album : - This option is use to create or edit a presentation
based on a set of picture.
 Text : - By the help of this option we can edit header or footer of
our presentation we can also insert text box, page number, date
and time into our presentation.
 Media Clips:-
 Movie :- This option is use to insert movie into our presentation.
 Sounds : - It is use to insert music from CD or recorded into a
microphone.

 Page setup : - By the help of this group we

can set the size and orientation of selected
slide.
 Themes : - It is use to apply different
predefined style on slides.
 Background Style : - It is used to set the
background style for selected slide.
 ANIMATION TAB
 Custom Animation : - By the help of this option we can apply
different type of animation on selected object.
 Transition to This slide : - By the help of this option we can apply
different types of transition style on selected slide.
 Transition sound : - It is use to select the transition sound.
 Transition Speed : - By this option we can set the transition speed
of slides. Like fast, medium, slow.
 Apply to All : - By this option we can apply the selected effect for
all slides.
 ADVANCED SLIDES:
 On mouse click : - Select this option if we want to appear the slide
after mouse clicking.
 Automatically After : - Select this option if we want to appear the
slide automatically after given time.
 SLIDE SHOW TAB

 From beginning (F5) : - This option is use to

show the slide from beginning.
 From current slide(Shift + F5) : - This option
is use to show the slide from current slide.
 Costume slide show : - By the help of this
option we can create a costume slide show
which shows only the slide which are selected
by us.
 Hide Slide : - This option is use to hide the
selected slide during slide show.
 VIEW TAB

 Normal : - This option is use to view the slide

in normal layout.
 Slide sorter : - By the help of this option we
can view the slide in slide sorter layout form
where we can easily arrange the position of
slides.
