Introduction to Cloud Computing

• Cloud computing is the use of various services such as

software application, storage, database, over the internet also
referred as “Cloud”.

• It is defined as the practice of using a network of remote

servers hosted on the internet to store, manage, and process
data, rather than a local server or a personal computer.

The service component manages which type
of services a user can access according to the
client requirement.
There are three types of cloud computing
services such as:
1. Software as a service (SaaS).
2. Platform as a Service (PaaS).
3. Infrastructure as a service (IaaS).
