What are the prepositions of time?
Are those invariable particles that are used to introduce that part of
the sentence that tells us when an action happens.
The most common prepositions are “in, on, and at”, which are used
depending on the time in which the action mentioned in the sentence
is carried out.
Preposition of time IN
We use IN when we talk about within periods of time.

Will be used to
• Centuries
• Decades
• Years
• Months
• Seasons
• Length of time
• Parts of the day
Preposition of time ON
We use ON when we are talk about specific days.

Will be used to
• Dates
• Days
• Special days
• Parts specific day.
Preposition of time AT
We use AT when we are talk about exact moments.

Will be used to
• Exact hours
• Times of day
• Specific events
Examples:
1) In the year 2020, there was a terrible pandemic.
2) I will be going to the market at noon.
3) She and I are going to the beach in the summer.
4) I was born on May first.
5) My brother has to go to the hospital on Monday at 3 o'clock.
6) In 2000, on April 6th, at 8:00 pm my sister was born.
7) I was away in August and returned for Christmas at night.
