Visualized fetal anatomy appears unremarkable at this early gestational age.
Maternal cervical length is normal at this time.

Ductus venosus shows positive ‘a’ wave.

Impression:
 Single live intrauterine fetu corresponding to gestational age 12 weeks 5 days.
 Lowlying placenta.
 Adequate amniotic fluid.
 No retroplacental collection.

Note:1.All anomalies cannot be detected in ultrasound due to certain technical limitations,obesity,due to certain fetal positions,fetal movements or abnormal amount of amniotic fluid.
2.Ultrasound scan being an investigation with technical limitations has to be correalated clinically.
