Present Perfect Simple
SIMPLE
Present perfect simple is a tense that refers to the past, but it refers
to the INDEFINITE past. That means we don‘t exactly know when
things have happened.
WHEN TO USE PRESENT
PERFECT?
1. When the action from the past is the cause for things happening in present
1. Paul has lost his wallet.
1. An action (losing a wallet) has consequences in present (He doesn‘t have it now.)
3. When we talk about experiences from the past (the experience still affects our thinking
or acting)
1. Have you ever been to Asia?
1. talking about (possible) experience from the past.
1. when things happened in indefinite past or very
recent past
1. He has seen the movie.
1. we don‘t know when this happened.
FORMATION
She has done her homework.
She hasn‘t done her homework.
