ROLE OF A MOTHER

Being a mother is one of the

most important roles a lady can ever
play.
Mothers play a huge role in their
children’s lives; giving birth to them,
loving them caring for them, teaching
them, and a lot more.
The way a baby develops, physically,
emotionally and spiritually, is
often largely attributed to the role of
their parents, especially the mother.
A mother’s relationship with her child is quite
crucial.
She plays multiple roles in a child’s
development from being a teacher in every
aspect of a child’s developmental growth –
social emotional, physical, cognitive and
independence to being his/her best friend.

A mother’s involvement helps to extend the

teaching of her child beyond the classroom.
This plays a pivotal role in creation of a more
positive learning experience for children and
allows them to perform better in school.
It also helps in establishing their confidence
and ability.

The crucial role of being a mother is still the divine
mission assigned to women alone by the Almighty.
In a classic poem written by William Ross Wallace
entitled ‘What Rules the World’, he said that the hand
that rocks the cradle is the hand that rules the world.
It beautifully illustrates the influence a mother plays to
her child and in the long run to the society.
As a mother strives to nurture and teach a child, she
explicitly works towards making this world a much
better place to live in.
Women are actually given an opportunity and a
privilege by God to be His partner in giving life to
another human being.
Mothers are truly timeless teachers in the classroom of their offspring’s life.
Women, especially mothers are the most influential mentors and educators.
Our mothers bequeath to us timeless wisdom and knowledge, a legacy so
precious and valuable.
Mothers have actually shaped our world from the cradle, by rocking,
nurturing and instructing children to grow up to make tremendous
astonishing, exquisite and history-making accomplishments.
Someone has rightly said that for every person, there is a mother behind who
fostered her child’s capabilities to their full potential.

Mothers remain some of our most powerful teachers within the hands-on
laboratory of everyday living.
A mother’s heart has everything to do with the tenderness and toughness,
conscientiousness and compassion and what not .
There’s really nothing as comforting and soothing as having our mother’s arm
wrapped around us.
They have contributed their best in making this world, an wonderful place to
live in.
Mothers educate and make her children
understand the importance of confidence in one’s
life and how a firm belief in oneself can help an
individual to achieve any goal in his/her life.
One way by which a mother breeds confidence in
h child is through affirmations and honing his/her
analytical thinking.
A healthy sense of self-confidence enables a
person to achieve more and celebrate more.
Mother’s lessons in life give us the space to
believe in ourselves as there is no limit to
greatness a person can attain with the blessings of
his/her mother and by following her advice and
suggestions.
 THE POWER OF WORDS

Mothers explain to us the power of words.

Words spoken by our mothers have power. It is
true that words can build up a child or tear
him/her down.
She tells us to be very careful with what we say.
We should remember that life and death,
blessings and cursing are all truly in the power
of our tongue.
Through our words, we can impart greatness or
smallness in someone else’s life. You and I can
fan the flame of a dream or just snuff it out.
Henceforth, we should use our words for good.
Mothers teach us to believe and have faith in
God.
They make us lovingly understand the value of
God in a person’s life through their lives, personal
prayer life and dependence on God’s wisdom and
power.
Knowing God, revering and worshipping Him are
really one of the most praiseworthy endeavours a
person can ever undertake.
Mothers are one of the first indications of the
sovereignty of God in the life of an individual.
