 Human development is a branch of psychology that studies


and strives to optimize the elements that help people live
healthy and fulfilling lives.

participation, and systemic issues associated with sports settings and
organizations.
Health

 Health psychology is a specialty area that focuses on how


biology, psychology, behavior, and social factors influence
health and illness.
Clinical
Clinical psychology is the psychological specialty that provides continuing and
comprehensive mental and behavioral health care for individuals, couples, families,
and groups; consultation to agencies and communities; training, education and
supervision; and research-based practice.
Social Behavior
 According to psychologist Gordon Allport, social
psychology uses scientific methods "to understand and
explain how the thoughts, feelings, and behavior of
individuals are influenced by the actual, imagined, or
implied the presence of other human beings.
Cognitive Process
 Cognitive processes are a series of chemical and electrical
signals that occur in the brain that allow you to
comprehend your environment and gain knowledge.
Governing Human Behavior

the phases of human life. This is a field of study that attempts to describe and
explain the changes in human cognitive, emotional, and behavioral capabilities
and functioning over the entire life span, from the fetus to old age.
