SDG goal 2 aims to achieve zero hunger by 2030 by providing good, healthy, and nutritious food for all. Extreme hunger and malnutrition trap people in poverty by making them less productive and more vulnerable to disease, preventing them from improving their livelihoods. Currently, 2 billion people do not have regular access to sufficient food and 144 million children are stunted due to malnutrition. Achieving zero hunger requires using modern farming tools to increase food production and yield, reducing food waste, donating surplus food to those in need, and making food more affordable for poor people.

SDG GOAL 2 SDG goal 2 is ‘Achieving Zero Hunger’ It’s aim is to end hunger by 2030 and to provide good, healthy, and nutritious food . ZERO HUNGER Extreme hunger and mal- nutrition remains a barrier to sustainable development and creates a trap from which people cannot easily escape. Hunger and malnutrition mean less productive individuals, who are more prone to disease and thus often unable to earn more and improve their livelihoods. WHY ZERO HUNGER IS IMPORTANT Extreme hunger and malnutrition remains a barrier to sustainable development and creates a trap from which people cannot easily escape. Hunger and malnutrition mean less productive individuals, who are more prone to disease and thus often unable to earn more and improve their livelihoods 2 billion people in the world do not have regular access to safe, nutritious and sufficient food. In 2019, 144 million children under the age of 5 were stunted, and 47 million were affected by wasting. HOW WE CAN ACHIEVE ZERO HUNGER? We Can achieve zero hunger by using good seeds and modern farming tools which help in good production and good yield. Increase in production will result in easy access of food. Many people are hungry because a lot of food is wasted we should control it and not waste food. We should help in donating the food to NGOs. Shopkeepers should reduce the prices of food, so poor people can easily access food. THANK YOU
