• Once you have created a study set, there are many different ways you can do your studying
• Flashcards: Using the flashcards option, students can go through all their terms they had input into the set and click
through them just as you would with physical flashcards. The term will be shown and when you click on the card, it
will flip over for the answer.
• Learn: The learn option is a quick way to build your memorization of the terms. You can “quick study” for short term
or “memorize it all” for long term. Based on the knowledge level you pick, the game will either give you a multiple
choice or open-ended question based on the terms in your set.
• Test: The test option will allow the student to create a practice test with multiple choice, matching, fill in the blank,
etc.
• Match: Match is a game that scrambles a chunk of your terms and definitions onto the screen. It is the student's job to
match them together.

HOW TO USE QUIZLET IN THE
CLASSROOM

• One thing that teachers can use Quizlet for is learning vocabulary. When learning vocabulary, students may
struggle with learning the definitions. By making a study set, students can more easily memorize the
definitions. Students can also make their own study sets. Every day, for about 10 minutes during class, the
students can get out their Quizlet study set and study their terms.
• Another way you can use Quizlet in the classroom is using the match feature. The match tool is a timed
game. If the teacher creates a class set, all the students can compete using this feature. Whoever has the top
3 fastest times in the class can win a prize.
