There is a proverb by an unknown author that suggests that our lives are an amalgamation of the
choices that we have made. Underneath the surface of this statement, I believe that there are other
factors that may influence our choices which are just as important as the choices made. This
presentation will illuminate common themes seen in my life based on data compiled from a number self-
assessments.
Research Process and Methods
Research for this assignment was gathered from My themes were generated from reflecting on
the following sources: assessments from previous courses (the Jung
Typology Test and the Kiersey Temperament
● Jung Typology Test Assessment).
● Kiersey Temperament Assessment
● Kuder Assessments (1-3) I compared this data to the data from the Kuder
● Personal Life Narrative Assessment and highlights from my personal life
● Three Questions narrative and three questions assignments to
identify my themes.
My Data Sources
This section will provide a deep dive into the resources introduced in the Research Process and
Methods section and how they contribute to the themes in my analysis.
Data Sources
● Jung Typology Test (JTT) - This assessment is a personality test that requires users to confirm
the degree to which they agree or disagree with a series of statements pertaining to
preferences or certain behaviors.
● Kiersey Temperament Assessment (KTA) - This assessment is a personality test that provides
participants with insight on who they are, what they do, who they love and the difference they
make (Keirsey, n.d.).
● Kuder Assessments (KA 1-3) - The assessments found within the Kuder Journey act as “a
system that gives you the tools you need to build a foundation for lifelong career success”
(Kuder, n.d.), and also aim to help users identify the best careers for them based on their results.
○ KA 1 - Kuder Career Interests Assessment
○ KA 2 - Kuder Skills Confidence Assessment
○ KA 3 - Super's Work Values Inventory-revised
● Personal Life Narrative (PLN) - The personal life narrative is an assignment used to summarize
major life events that have contributed to to where I am today and how these events have
shaped my current beliefs and recurring life statement(s).
Data Sources Cont.
● Big 5 Personality Test (BFP) - The Big 5 Personality Test requires participants to select the level
of which they agree or disagree with 50 statements. The results will suggest your most salient
characteristics of five main personality traits–openness, conscientiousness, extrovertedness,
agreeableness, and neuroticism (also recognized as O.C.E.A.N).
● DISC Personality Test (DISC) - This assessment requires participants to select the level of which
they agree or disagree with a number of grouped statements and assesses their DISC type–
dominance, influence, compliance, and steadiness–and then textualizes your personality as a
profile.
● Three Questions (3Qs) - This assignment requires participants to answer three questions that
unveil the most important aspects of their being and their life’s mission.
Themes This section will highlight my 10
themes. These themes make up my
core characteristics and illuminate
who I am and the ideas that
contribute to my personality.

My Personal Vision Statement
“Everything happens for a reason, and there is a purpose for your existence.”
Reflection:
I believe that there is a very specific reason for everyone’s existence. The fact that everyone in our lives
has been in our lives and served some purpose supports this idea for me. I believe that some of us know
our life’s purpose early on and some later on, but still at the perfect time and you will have no option but
to be receptive to the mission once it is introduced to you.
My Personal Mission Statement
To lead by example in every aspect of life. Take risks fearlessly, be happy genuinely, give myself grace on the
days where exhibiting happiness is a challenge, be honest with others and myself about my desires, truly
explore what I want and this life with no inhibitions. Being a leader and example of what I hope to see is
Reflection:
This assignment was challenging but an enlightening and enjoyable experience. As I conclude these
courses for obtaining my Organizational Leadership degree, I am realizing how close I am to actually
closing this chapter and starting a new chapter in life. With more free time and more opportunities to
work on my next set of goals. There will be no excuses for achieving them and I will learn whether my
plan of action for achieving them is actually S.M.A.R.T.
Conclusion
Overall, I’ve gotten a recap of the information already learned from previous courses and the
assessments taken in this course. I know the areas that I need to improve and can see areas
that I have improved or changed in from the beginning of my educational journey. I also
recognize the personality traits that I could stand to drop in order to achieve more in life
especially in terms of acting more from within certain traits than others.
