What is Overhunting ?
• Overhunting is the hunting or chasine of animals to kill or
to hold them for ecomic benefits or food purposes;

• This is an activity that results in a serious reduction of


species population or harm to wildlife;

• In simple terms, overhunting could be easily br called


overexploration of natural resources
What is the effect of overhunting?
• Overhunting might become a serious environmental
problema and can lead to extinction of animal
species;

• Disrupts migration and Hibernation;

• Overhunting affects ths interconnectesness of the


ecosystem.
What are the reasons that can lead to overhunting ?
• Cultural reasons, such as traditions of hunting;
• Economic purposes;
• Cosmetic problems;
• Overhunting for food;
How can we prevent overhunting ?
• Enforcement of stricter laws;
• Organize campains to creat awareness;
• Support converstion agencies.
Conclusion:
• Hunting can lead to the suffering of animals, but done in the
right way may not lead to any suffering. Some poachers use
drones to find the animals they are hunting. This is unfair and
ilegal and harms the population. Hunting promotes better
skills, knowledge and awareness.
