YPES OF CAROTENOIDS
ALPHA CAROTENE
-a form of carotene with a Beta-ionone ring at one end and an
Alpha Ionone ring at the opposite end. Act as anti oxidants,
fighting against damage caused by oxidation, which plays a role
in the development of cardio vascular diseases and cancers.
BETA-CAROTENE
-a pigment found in plants that gives them their color.
From word beta-carotene Latin name for carrot- give
orange & yellow hue. Protects the body from damaging
molecules called pre radicals.

BETA CRYPTOXANTHIN
-a natural carotenoid pigment. Anti oxidant defense and cell to
cell.

LUTEIN
-a xanthophyll and of 600 known naturally occurring
carotenoids. Its reported to have anti-inflammatory properties
beneficial for eye health, lutein is known to improve or prevent
age-related macular disease which is the leading cause of
blindness and vision impairment.

-a carotenoid present in the retina of the eye and in many
plants used as a food additive and supplement.
LYCOPENE
-a natural pigment that gives some vegetables, and fruits their
red colors. Prevent skin discoloration, texture changes and fine
