INTRODUCTION
Sleep that is adequate in quality and duration is essential for
life, health, and well-being. Yet, sleep deficiency is quite common
and pervasive in modern society. Sleep deficiency associated
with poor sleep quality is common in chronic illness. According
to Gugushvili et al. (2020), problematic or excessive smartphone
usage is negatively associated with the emotional well-being of
users. It has been reported that obsessive usage “leads to mental
health symptoms such as sleep disturbance and depression”
(Thomée et al., 2011; Lee et al., 2014). This Mobile Application for
Sleep Management with phone auto locker is a software system
that provides various features to help users manage their sleep
patterns and ensure they get adequate rest.
One of the primary features of the mobile application is sleep
tracking, which uses the phone’s sensors to monitor the user’s
sleep patterns and provide detailed reports on the quality and
duration of their sleep. The phone auto-locker feature is
designed to help users avoid distractions from their phone
during designated sleep hours. The feature can be customized
to suit the user’s needs, with options to set different lock hours
for different days of the week (Chen et al., 2020). Additionally,
the phone auto-locker feature provides a convenient way to
avoid distractions from the phone and promote a healthy sleep
environment (Zhang et al., 2019).
The developers aim to design, develop, and
test the “Lullaby: A Mobile Application for
Sleep Management with Phone Auto Locker”
Specifically, it seeks to meet the following
objectives: OBJECTIVES
1. Identifying the hardware and software OF THE

3. To determine the acceptability level of the

Mobile Application for Sleep Management with
Phone Auto Locker.
• The application will allow users to set a time frame during which the phone will
automatically lock and cannot be unlocked until the designated time has
passed.

• This will help users avoid the temptation of using their phones late at night,
which can disrupt their sleep patterns.

• In terms of limits, the application may not prevent users from accessing their
phone through other means such as using another device or turning off the
auto lock feature.

• The effectiveness of the application may vary depending on the individual

factors such as sleep disorders, lifestyle, and personal preferences.

• The application may not be compatible with all types of devices and operating
system, limiting its accessibility for some users.

INTRODUCTION
Protection is the prior motive of individuals because of the
awareness in continuous rising of crime rate. Mortise locks,
deadbolts, door chains, knob lock, and other traditional ways all
have their limitations and some of them are frail but substantial in
weight. Other manual locks are more of a hassle than they are
something that offers real advantages. (Prity et al.,2021)Manual
locks gets easily corroded and unfortunately, it is easier to break
and there are no features like alarm, notification, and control that
may prevent theft. Therefore, a need to invent other kinds of locks
which cannot be easily broken is at high demand and even if they
can be broken, the task won’t be so easy as it is far from other
kinds of manual locks.
The proposed system makes use of RFID tags and GSM
modules to implement a secure but easy-to-use system. It
has the possibility to replace the traditional door lock
system. By using the proposed method, the security of any
door can be enhanced at a very low cost (Prity et al.,2021).
This smart door lock using RFID with SMS control is a
composite-embedded system that utilizes both hardware
and software interfacing for data entries at Lab rooms
through the use of short-range data detection device like
RFID and other communication protocols. The researchers
are aiming to support the administration or the institution in
terms of access control through providing access cards
and providing an audit trail of the in and out transactions of
the personnel.
The developers aim to design and develop

• Key-less operation for the security lock system in locking and unlocking the
room using an RFID application with SMS within the laboratory rooms of
Pangasinan State University.
• The authorized users to access the system are the faculty members, part-time
instructors who teach in the lab rooms and also the MIS maintenance
personnel who maintain and repair the equipment’s in the said laboratories.
• An RFID card is used in unlocking the door.
• The device has a backup battery to supply power for the system in case of
power cuts/loss.
• It also provides messages indicating the status of the user’s entries.
• Tracking of these lost cards are excluded in this study as well as the loss of
the equipment’s inside the laboratories.
• It might require regular maintenance and updates to guarantee that it
functions properly.
