Itzel: Hi, uncle, I would like to ask you some
questions. Could you help me?
Uncle: Yes, sure. I’m happy to help you.
Itzel: Great. Here we go.
1. When you were a child what did you use to do to
celebrate your birthday, for example?
Uncle: It was a long time ago, when I celebrated my
birthday, I used to invite all my neighborhood. We had a
big party, it was
Itzel: Okay. Next question.
2. What did you use to do in your free time?
Uncle: When I was a child, approximately in 2000, I used to
play with some friends, we played soccer under the rain. It
was so funny.
Itzel: Thanks, that´s nice.
 
3. What about school?
Uncle: In the past, When I was in primary school, I
used to attend all my classes.
Itzel: That´s interesting.
4. What was your favorite food?
Uncle: Many years ago, I used to eat a lot of meat, but
nowadays I just eat a little meat. I prefer to eat more
vegetables.
Itzel: really? I like that, too.

5. Did you have a different religion?

Uncle: five years ago, I used to attend to Adventist of 7 th
day. Last year I attended to Catholic Church.
Itzel: Nice to hear that.
 
6. What did you like most indoor or outdoor activities?
Uncle: I used to like outdoor activities but at the
moment I like indoor. I prefer reading or watching TV.
Itzel: Thanks.
7. Which were your hobbies?
Uncle: A year ago I still liked play sports, soccer, volleyball, basketball,
too, I used to watch TV.
Itzel: They are interesting activities
 
8. What kind of music did you use to listen to?
Uncle: I used to listen to rock music, these days I love
jazz.
Itzel: It sounds interesting
 
9. What about family? Did you do something special?
Uncle: Yes, long time ago, we used to meet at mum’s
house. By this time we just use whatsapp to see each
other.
Itzel: Alright, thanks. The last one.
 
10. I was wondering to know, did you use to hang out with
your brothers?
Uncle: Yes, my brother and I used to go out, we used to go to the park.
Actually, a little while ago we went to the park together.
Itzel: Oh, that’s great. I would like to do that with my brother, too.
 2. WRITTEN REPORT
My uncle was born in 1991, he had a messy childhood. When he was only 1 year old, he learned how to walk. Her family had a huge party for
birthdays. When he got her first one, he was celebrated with a big one. Actually, her family used to invite the all neighborhood. It was a nice
tradition.

All her childhood was so funny, by the 2000 he used to play sports with friends, they spent time together, sometimes they used to play soccer under
the rain. Besides he had a funny childhood, he was so responsible, he attended all classes.

My uncle has a variety of tastes; for instance, he used to eat more meat than anything else, nowadays, he prefers eating vegetables. In my opinion,
vegetables are tastier than meat and they give us more vitamins.

Also, when my uncle was younger he liked outdoors activities, as it was mentioned before he used to play under the rain; however, as he is older
now he likes better reading or sleeping, in other words he likes more indoor activities, on the other hand a year ago, he still liked playing soccer,
volleyball and basketball.

I think my uncle’s life is so interesting since he used to listen to rock but now he prefers listening to Jazz. This is an interesting and cool music, this
kind of music makes us to feel relax. Don’t you think so?

My uncle’s family is so huge so that a long time ago, they used to meet at mum’s house, they spent a long time together, and actually, what I
remember all my cousins meet too. At the moment, after pandemic and all diseases the method has changed, they use website to chat, contact or
call each other, for example they chat by WhatsApp. By my side, covid-19 has affected families, not only for the dead but also for the distance we
have feel.
