Progesterone
&Estrogen

• Multicolour light represents FSH which is resposible for
follicular growth.
• Blue light represents estrogen which with in combination
with LH cause proliferation of follicular thecal cells.
• LH causes final follicular growth. And ovulation
• After ovulation granulosa and theca interna cells convert to
lutein cells.
• Corpus luteum secretes large amount of estrogen and
progesterone. Oestrogen causes proliferation of cell.
• Progesterone prepares uterus for pregnancy.
• After ovulation fertization takes place in
ampullary isthmus junction.
• Zygote further shows cleavage and converts to
morula, blastula ,late blastula and gets
embedded endometrium lining
