INTRODUCTION

Digital media has great impacted the healthcare industry, particularly in the realm of
online diagnosis. Online diagnosis refers to the use of digital media platform, such as
websites, apps to provide a preliminary diagnosis of a medical condition to patients.

One of the benefits of online diagnosis is that it can provide patients with quick
and convenient access to medical advice. Online diagnosis can also help to increase
awareness of medical conditions and they symptoms.

LITERATURE GAP

The literature gap in this dissertation extends to investigate the accuracy,


reliability and safety of online diagnosis and to explore the potential impact
of online diagnosis on the patient – provider relationship.
SIGNIFICANCE OF THE STUDY

The study on digital media and online diagnosis is significant as it has the
potential to advance the field of healthcare, improve patient outcomes and
inform policy and practices in the use of digital media in healthcare.
AIMS AND OBJECTIVES OF THE STUDY

1. To identify the current state of online diagnosis tools and their impact on
healthcare.

2. To assess the accuracy and reliability of online diagnosis tools in diagnosing


common medical conditions.

3. To evaluate patient satisfaction with the use of online diagnosis.


METHODOLOGY

Descriptive Research is used by the researcher to evaluate the current status of


digital media and internet in Diagnosis of diseases.
