English for Occupational Purposes (EOP)

• English for Occupational Purposes (EOP) is a branch of English for


Specific Purposes. (ESP) and covers situations in which learners
are studying English for work-related. reasons. The courses are
based on analysis of their specific communicative needs in their
work.
• Considering the importance of knowing the language for the
workplace and interacting with colleagues, partners and
consumers, the English for Occupational Purposes courses aim to
provide the instruction which addresses the needs and lacks of
the learners with regard to their career goals.

their significant achievements in the development of medicine.
