INTRODUCTION

Nanoparticles :

Nanoparticles are often crystalline and end up being referred to as nanocrystals. High surface area
is a critical factor in the performance of catalysis and structures such as electrodes, allowing
improvement in performance of such surface of a particle over that of those in the technologies as
fuel cells and batteries.

METHOD OF SYNTHESIS :

There are so many methods for the synthesis of nano particles here will be used Biological
methods or green methods. In recent years, a number of technique, including co-precipitation,
sol-gel processes, etc

BIOLOGICAL METHODS :

The green chemistry technique is used of moderately pollutant free chemical to synthesis of
nano materials and embrace the use of beings solvent such as water, natural extract
EXPERIMENTAL METHODS

NiO nano-particles synthesis (synthesis of 0.05 M solution)

Chemicals: Ni (0.05M), NaOH, Distilled water, leaf extract of Kalanchoe pinnata, etc.
Apparatus: Magnetic stirrer, PH meter, beaker, glass rod, dropper etc.
Procedure: 1) 0.05 M Ni dissolved in distilled water in 100 ml std. flask.

2) Take 5 ml leaf extract which are diluted with distilled water

in 50 ml std. flask.
2) Take 5 ml leaf extract which are diluted with distilled water in 50 ml std. flask.

3) Take 50 ml leaf extract solution in beaker and add the dropwise 0.05 M Ni solution
(100 ml) with constant stirring.
4) After the addition of NaOH solution maintain the PH-10-12 using NaOH solution.

5)After the addition of NaOH solution is stirred for six hours.

FLOW CHART

0.01M/0.05M Ni is diluted in 100 ml distilled water in std.

Conclusion

Recently, a variety of microorganisms and plant extracts have been used to efficiently synthesize metal
nanoparticles for green synthesis. The physical and clinical effects of antimicrobial, antioxidative and non-
toxic nanoparticles obtained by green synthesis are becoming increasingly important. Future studies will
probably focus on obtaining nanoparticles with antimicrobial effects at its maximum level and toxicity at
minimum. Because of this reason, synthesizing metallic nanoparticles, -especially by non-toxic green
synthesis method-, which are used in many application fields such as cancer treatment, drug transport,
biosensor construction is of great importance today
