 The Present Simple is used to talk about habits,

regular occurrences, generalisations and
scheduled events.

 -s, -es, -ies

For he, she and it we add -s, -es or -ies.


We add -es after -sh, -ch, -x. -s, -o (e.g., go, wash, mix, kiss).

We add -ies when the verb ends in consonant + y (e.g., study, cry, fly).
 We add -s in any other case (e.g., work, play, swim).
