Inspiration : Model Model’s Hands

My inspiration for this shoot is the
photographer John Coplans. Coplans
was a British photographer who had
a main focus in his work around
interlocking fingers. I like this theme
as it ties in the GCSE 2023 theme of Studio Light
‘Lock’. This is one of his most
famous images of ‘Interlocking DSLR Camera
Fingers’.

Subject : Equipment : Lighting and Camera Settings :

The subject of my shoot are
the fingers of my model in
multiple interlocking
positions to create a variety.
I will be using Coplans
techniques.
For my shoot I will just need
2 lights, my model and a
DLSR Camera. I will also be
using a black background to
create a dark setting.
In my shoot I will be using 2 studio
lights to put focus on the subject of the
image. I will be using a low ISO as the
image will be brightened by the lights
and then greyscaled in photoshop after
the shoot.
